The Connaught Apartments is a beautiful building. The white molding around the building give a Edwardian façade. There is a small staircase leading to the green entry doors, which continue on into a grand lobby. Next to the entry is the conveniently located covered carpark.

With great facilities, security and presentation, The Connaught Apartments are an appealing choice of residence to the discerning buyer.

  • The building manager obtained several quotations from alternative cleaning contractors concerning the common areas in the building and is now to arrange new contracts with a company, which offers a comparable level of service, but to significantly less cost than the actual contractor
  • Proposed and resolved maintenance for 2010/2011:
    • The building manager is to arrange isolated repairs to the exterior balconies as necessary.
    • The building manager is to arrange for brass kick plates to be installed on the apartment doors as a part of ongoing upgrade work.
    • The hallways of the common area (level 7, 8, 9 and 10) are to be repainted, also as a part of ongoing upgrade work.
    • The building manager is to arrange the repair of the exterior window of unit 14D, because  water is ingressing through the joinery.

BODY CORPORATE MINUTES 2009

  • The building manager will investigate the cost and feasibility of installing a lift that will service the apartments 201, 202, 301, 302, 401, 402, 501 and 502 and the body corporate will call an EGM to vote for it.
  • It was answered to a question, that in general, the hotel will be in the building for more than ten years.
  • The Quadrant will be called to ensure, the concierge will improve the service and owners were advised to contact Nafeez Kalaam, if there is any problem.
  • The Quadrant will be contacted to solve the ongoing problems with the far end of carpark level 4, which became a storage area, and also with people still smoking on level 4.
  • It was noted, that there are no problems with open homes, however open home signage on the building is not allowed; professional photos on the building can be provided on request.
